Our Story
Two States Foods was born at the intersection of two states, two cultures, two palates — and one shared belief: Indian food is deeper, bolder, and
more diverse than what the world thinks.
We come from different parts of India, shaped by distinct languages, religions, and traditions — where even the same vegetable is transformed into two completely different dishes with its own spices, aromas, and soul. Our dinner tables looked nothing alike — yet they were both rich, authentic, and rooted in centuries of regional wisdom.
Here in North America, 'Indian food' is often reduced to a handful of dishes — butter chicken, naan, and curry — repeating the same ingredients and ideas across menus and aisles. But India is 31 states and 7 union territories of flavor — a subcontinent of spice techniques, slow roasts, regional superfoods, wild roots, and deeply local magic.
That’s what we’re here to share.
Two States started with recipes from our own homes — spice blends, chutneys, and drinks that rarely leave family kitchens. But our mission goes far beyond our two states. We’re building a brand that celebrates the full spectrum of India’s culinary richness — through spices, beverages, plant-based foods, and wholesome, functional ingredients.
This isn’t fusion. This is India — as it really is. And this is just the beginning.
